The remuneration of the faculty members/trainers for soft skill The services of Chartered Accountants are also utilized by ICAI
courses is paid on the basis of the location of the Organizing as Evaluators for the Exam Papers with following terms and

 Centre having more than 2000 members: Minimum  Chartered Accountants with a minimum of four years

 Centre having 2000 or less than 2000 members:  University Lecturers/Professors with a minimum of five
Minimum ` 1000/- to ` 1500/- per session of 1½ hours years teaching experience are eligible.

 Batch wise/Session wise faculty payment details be  ICWA, ACS, M.Com, Post Graduates in Economics or
prepared and submitted on regular basis. Law, Lawyers, IT Professionals, MBA (Finance) and other
professionals with at least five years’ experience, either

are eligible to apply. Those with work experience
Exam Paper Setting having direct relevance to the aforesaid subjects(s) of
examination(s) will be preferred.
ICAI also empanels Chartered Accountants for Exam Paper
setters at all levels.  Persons above 65 years of age are not eligible.

Experience: An examiner who has a consistent good track  Persons who are visually impaired or suffer from such
record for more than 5 years is invited to take up the other physically disability that might necessitate taking
assignment. the assistance of any other person for evaluation of
answer books are not eligible.
Remuneration  Persons who are undergoing CA Course of the Institute
are not eligible.
CA Final Exam
 Persons whose applications were rejected earlier from
Paper-Setters ` 22,000/- the Panel are eligible to apply again after a gap of 1
year from the date of rejection.
Moderators ` 30,000/-
 Those who are already empanelled with ICAI as
examiners and have not been rested/removed need not
CA Inter Exam
apply. Their candidature will be considered in the normal
course, at the appropriate time.
Paper-Setters (2, 3 & 6) ` 15,000/-
(1 & 5) ` 18,000/-  Persons associated with the coaching activities are not
eligible. Those who have ceased to be associated with
(4A, 4B, 7A & 7B) ` 9,000/- the coaching activity are permitted to apply after a gap
Moderator (Full Paper) ` 25,000/- of 5 years.

Moderator (Half Paper) ` 15,000/-  An applicant for empanelment is required to appear and
pass an on-line test in the subject of his choice, answer
books of which he would like to evaluate, before being
empanelled.
