Pre-Deposit of Service Tax Demand before Filing of Appeal

In case of Unregistered Assessees, Service Tax Demand has been raised by the CGST Excise Department. But the Assessee is contesting that the assessee is not liable to deposit Service Tax. Now the question is How shall the demand to the extent of 7.5 or 10 (as applicable) be deposited before Filing of Appeal as the Assessee was not registered under Service Tax and now the Service Tax is merged into GST Regime.
