Can a Chartered Accountant certify the stock statement submitted to the bank with UDIN? Since only Bank of Maharashtra is insisting on submission of a CA-certified stock statement,

Yes, A CA can certify stock statements based on books of accounts, Stock records & MR. Since it is a professional certificate, you have to sign it with UDIN

Yes , a Chartered Accountant can certify a stock statement with a UDIN, but only when the bank specifically requires such certification. There is no ICAI restriction preventing a CA from issuing a UDIN-backed certificate for a stock statement.
