No, the exemption limit is not ?50,000 for interest paid by a proprietor to individual lenders. For FY 2025-26, the correct TDS threshold under Section 194A is: 1. ?40,000 for non-senior individual lenders and 2. ?50,000 for senior citizens (60 years or above)
