Year of accumulation in case of charitable trust
Dear Professional collogues,
What year i have to mention as year of accumulation in the following case.
Financial year is 2017-18. Form 10 was filed on say 31-08-2018. Then what year is referred as year of accumulation whether it is 2017-18 or 2018-19.

The accumulation relates to the income of FY 2017-18 (Assessment Year 2018-19), as Form 10 is filed for income earned in that year.
So, the Year of Accumulation is 2017-18, not 2018-19.

As Form 10 is filed for financial year 2017-18, year of accumulation should be mentioned as 2017-18.
