Is proprietor can be changed in GST ?

As GST number is based on the PAN of the proprietor, you cannot change the proprietor. Instead you need to first get GST number in the name of new propietor and transfer the ITC from the exsting portal by submiting the cancellation of GST registration request with appropriate reason i.e transfer of business to other proprietor.
