Part Time COP
I Have joined an audit firm as a partner & branch incharge 2 years ago. Now I came out of the firm by march 2022 but I haven't surrender my COP and I thought of joining an MNC now. Can I still hold my COP and convert it to part time? then what is the procedure for the same?

Yes. You can join MNC after converting full time COP to part time COP. You will have to intimate ICAI about joining employment and file application to convert COP to part time.

You must have intimated about the leaving of the firm to ICAI. As there is no firm registered in which either you are a proprietor or a partner. Hence your COP is a part time COP. Just after joining the job intimate the ICAI, your COP is already a part time COP.
