Tax Saver FD eligibility upto 31.July.2020
Is investment in Tax Saver FD in any bank is also eligible for claiming deduction u/s 80C for F.Y.2019-2020 if made before 31.July.2020? Thanks & Regards.

Yes eligible. Inference - Page 3 of The Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance,2020 dated 31-03-2020 and clause (vi) of first proviso of CBDT Notification 35/2020 dated 24-06-2020.
