No

Under SRS 4410 (Revised), a Chartered Accountant, including the statutory auditor of the company, may undertake a compilation engagement in respect of provisional financial statements based on information provided by management. However, such engagement does not constitute an audit or review, and no assurance can be expressed on the provisional figures. Accordingly, the CA should issue only a compilation report strictly in accordance with SRS 4410 (Revised) and should avoid certifying the provisional financial statements as true and correct or audited.
