The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013, is likely to be taken up for consideration in the Winter Session of Parliament, said a senior government official who attended a high-level meeting on the subject on Wednesday.The meeting of the Union housing and urban poverty alleviation ministry was convened in the run-up to a meeting of all stakeholders in the Bill that seeks to pave the way for construction of a large number of affordable houses on Friday. “We have convened the meeting of all stakeholders to seek their views and suggestions on the bill,” the senior official of the housing and urban poverty alleviation ministry said. Housing and urban poverty alleviation minister Venkaiah Naidu on Wendesday discussed the bill with his officials.
