The rupee is expected to strengthen this week on the back of strong gross domestic product (GDP) data, which is set to attract foreign flows in domestic markets.Friday's GDP data showed that growth accelerated to the fastest pace in more than two years. GDP growth rose 5.7 per cent in the quarter ended June from a year earlier, the biggest gain since the quarter through March 2012 and compared with the 4.6 per cent in the previous quarter, said the Central Statistical Office.
