Can a trust registered under Indian Trust act 1882 for imparting education be treated as charitable trust? Can this trust be illegible to be registered under 12 A of I.Tax act 1961?

Yes, it is eligible. Since it is a educational trust, refer 10(23C)(iiiab), (iiiad) and (vi) also.

Yes "advancement of education" is included in section 2(15) as Charitable purpose. It cannot be illegal.
