Appointment of internal auditor
Our firm has been appointed as GST auditor by a Company, limited by guarantee, for the FY 2017-18 and we shall submit our resignation after 30.06.2019 I.e. the last of the said audit.
Now the said Company also want to appoint us as their internal auditor w.e.f. 01.04.2019.
Can we accept the appointment of internal auditor before submitting resignation as GST auditor?

No. As per ICAI council announcement in September, 2018, You cannot accept appointment as internal auditor of the company in which you are GST auditor. You have to submit resignation as GST auditor before accepting the appointment as internal auditor.

Yes you can as you are doing the GST audit for the FY 2017-18 and your are being appointed internal audit for the FY 2019-20.Since the date of filing has get extended that is time line of filing is 30.06.2019.
