Now, let me update you on some major activities of our Committee during the last month:

• A meeting was held with RBI officials to discuss issues related to the concurrent audit system followed in commercial banks on 25th Feburary, 20130.
• A meeting was held with Dr. K C Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India to discuss issues of mutual interest.
• A meeting was held with Shri Rajiv Takru, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Panel Submitted:

• Panel of Madhya Pradesh based Chartered Accountants/firms to Joint Commissioner (Audit), O/o Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Madhya Pradesh.
• Panel of Amravati based Chartered Accountants/ Firms submitted to Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
• Panel of Delhi based Chartered Accountant firm submitted to the Deputy Director, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi.
• Panel submitted to the Director (Cooperation), Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi.
• Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel for the year 2012-13 submitted to the Assistant General Manager, CO Inspection, Indian Bank, Chennai.
